Default Tires for a 2/4 Drop with 20's ???

Heres the deal, 2WD, 2/4 Drop, 20x8 Stingray III Wheels.....

How wide can I go without rubbing?
295/45/20 Or 265/50/20 ?

I don't want to rub when turning, and when or if I bottom out. I don't want to go any higher than 31" tall tire, or any lower than 29.5" tall.

Any recomendations??

I think 99silver6.0 is running a 285/50/20. It looks perfect for a 2/4 IMO. A 275/45/20 will be close to stock.

I would say 285/ 50/ 20 or 275/ 45/ 20's. Not too sure if a 295/ 45/ 20 would rub or not. The 285/ 50/ 20 will be very close as it is.

I run the 275/45/20 with no rubbing issues. I would think the 285/50 would be pushing it.

I have the mcgaughys 2/4 spindle/hanger/shackle kit.

I don't think I have seen his tires from the back to see how wide they look. I do love the stance on his truck.

Will the 295/45/20 fit on a 8" wide 20" rim??

Or should I go with the 285/50/20??

Grabber UHP -- $129 Both sizes
BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW-2 -- $223 295/45/20 only

A 295 would be better on a 9" rim IMO.
