Currently have 3.73 gears and 30.5 inch tall tires. I'm not sure if I should go to a 28 Inch tall tire and stay with the 3.73 or keep the 30.5 inch tall tires and go to a 4.10 gear. From what i've heard doing either of the 2 will increase RPM by about approx. 300rpms at cruising speed. I would think going to a shorter tire would be better because it would weigh less and It would be like going to a lower gear. I'm not worried about gas mileage because I only drive about 20 miles per day. Opinions on this?

3.73's to 4.10's the rmp's will maybe be half of 300rpm increase.
i went from 3.42's to 4.10's and the rmps increased 300 to 350 rmps.
i say it's your choice. with stock height tires (around 30") i'm turning 2300 @ 70.

With that little of an increase i just might have to go with 3.73's to help with my off the line..
