Default tires and suspension

I am fixing to buy a 94-98 Chevy z71 4x4 extended cab . I don't want to go major on the lift and tires. I want to do about a 4 inch lift and 33's or 35's(80% I want 33's) can somebody tell me if i can do a 4 inch lift with 33's or if i have to do a bigger lift to stay clear of tire rub. Again, I don't want the truck to sit above the top of the tires, i want it to sit like a normal stance it's just that 33's probably wont fit with stock suspension.

4 inch would work great. I have seen plenty of those trucks, with 3 inch body lifts clear 33s. 4 inch suspension would be the way to go. PM me if you need help getting a lift kit.

It should look and drive well with a 4"and 33" My bro in-law had an '89' Siera with a 6"lift and 3"body lift and 36" and he didn't rub.I remember seeing some kits saying a 6"kit requires no more than a 35"

my freind has a '88 with no lift and 33 12.50's on a 10'' wide wheel but the do rub some and he has bumped his toursion bars a little... 4" would look really good with 33's though
