Default Too loose of a stall converter, any thoughts?

Hey Guys,

I have a Daaco 3200rpm lockup converter in front of my 4L60E behind my 357ci SBC. I just feel this converter is too loose with too much slip. In fact, once the TCC applys it feels like the drivetrain has more torque & power than when the converter is unlocked. It's just a light switch converter, it's either on or off.

I've got my trans tuned to apply the TCC 5mph higher than the gears upshift MPH, so that way while cruising around town and HWY the converter is always locked until throttle is applied and the trans downshifts.

These are what my shift tables/ TCC tables & pressure tables are currently set to:

Do you think more line pressure could help this converter feel like it has more grip? Is there anything in this tune you would change?

You want a smaller converter behind that style motor in general. LS's make power higher in the RPM, that's why they generally want a bigger converter... I'd put about a 2600 stall in that thing...

Pressure isn't gonna help.
