Default top speed on 4.56 gears

im not looking for a calculator...im looking for how far some of you have pushed 4.56 gears on a 28" tire and auto transmission locked in 3rd. some things that those calculators dont think of is the tire growing.

so how fast have some of you been on 4.56 and if you happen to have an RPM at that speed it would be great!

Maybe this will help. Lets say your tire grows to 29", your torque convertor is locked in 3rd, and you carry your motor to 6K RPM.

Your speed at those conditions would be 113 - 114 mph.

At 7K RPM with all other conditions the same, your speed would be 132 MPH.

Not quite the same guidelines you asked for but I had mine to around 120ish the other night at around 6250rpms. I have been 130ish but I don't remember the rpms. I'm sure they were up there as you can imagine. I have a 29" tire

An another note, I wouldn't trade my 4.56s for nothin. The pull is so much better in 3rd. For instance a buddy of mine has a cammed 5.3 with 4.10s. From a slow roll we were dead even until we shifted to 3rd then I started inching ahead.

if you guys think i can hit 132 in 3rd locked that will most likely be my next gear. i really dont want to risk running out of gear on the 250 shot. i trapped 118mph on a 125 shot. so another 175 shot to that might add some MPH...i doubt it will go past 124 or 125 or so though.
