ok. here is my dyno graph. i based my gear selection on thinking that my power band would pull to about 67 to 6800 like everyone on tech preached it would lol...but, i peak at 6400 rpm. now im thinking 4.56 would put me past peak power on the nitrous. these pulls are in 3rd locked. my current converter is a 3600. based on the graph im debating on getting a 4200 converter and 4.30 gears instead of the 4.56....or just doing the 4200 converter and spraying more out of the hole. what do you guys think? i trapped 118mph on a 125 shot and plan a 250 shot to blow it up lol. that was before the added exhaust flow (the lower numbers on this graph) my math shows that with a 28" slick on a 4.30 gear would put my peak power at 126mph. hopefully another 175 shot on top can get me from 118 to 126mph.

Stewart, I'd keep your converter and add gear. The bigger shot is going to want to blow through anything much bigger. A 4000 and a 4.56 would be all the gear and converter your truck would need I'd say.
