Default torque converter and Check engine

Hi

last week the yank pt3200 was installed on my truck

it was a real improvement over the stock one
but the problem is when it burn the tires from dig (accelerate so hard i mean)
the check engine light comes out and never go unless the battery is unplugged
also it will not work by remote start while this check engine is on

any idea on that?

thanks

my loose converter would throw a code sometimes that would put my truck into 3rd gear only until i got it tuned out. go to autozone and get it scanned for free.

I would say that if is not going into safe mode (3rd gear and TC does not lockup) it is misfires or false knock caused by the verter

yup, my guess is misfires. i've had it happen a few times to me. i slightly raised the amount of miliseconds that it detected misfires and it straightened out.
