Tranny guy says the tranny is ready but noticed the back hub on the flywheel side of the converter is shaved on one side. Could possibly be causing it not to set right in the crank. Is that possible? If so, is it repairable? I tried to call Yank but no answer. I'll have to try again tommorow.

I would say that you should be fine. Just be concious when you install it to turn the shaved side up so that the converter will be more centered in the crank before you bolt it up. Once it is bolted up, that shaved spot is not going to matter as the bolts are going to hold it. Another thing you can do is test fit just the converter to the crank before you fill it with fluid and see how much slack you have between the hub and crank. After installation, if the converter is not centered you will know due to the excessive vibration.
