Ok so looking at a website selling transmissions for my truck, they offer a 9.5, 10.5, and 12 inch converter for my truck! Why? I have a 2005 chevy silverado 5.3 2wd help

the 12 inch will be more of a stock stall speed then the 10.5 and 9.5 will be more of a performance higher stalling converter .

i got a 2800 and its great you have a LS motor you should look in to a http://www.circledspecialties.com/p-...converter.aspx with a 3000-3200 stall since your cam swaping later on the LS builds power higher in the revs then my old small block .

We would be glad to help you select a converter. There are a lot of choices and it can get confusing. You can give me a call at the shop or fill out the "Ask Chris" link in my sig and I will email you back.

I love my Yank TT2600. Its perfect and keeps the factory towing capabilities. I tow with mine 6-7 days a week.

Ok so I decided to go with the yank tt3000. Will be a few months before I can install it. Got to save for the performabuilt.
