Default Torque Specs: U-Joint strap bolts?

Can anybody tell me what the strap bolts need to be torqued to on a '00 Silverado.

just get them pretty tight with a 7/16 wrench..shouldnt have any probs

Damn empirical people and your fractions.

I've never torqued them to spec, like dirt_track_racer said, just get them fairly tight and you'll be fine.

9/32=7mm, 5/16=8mm, 7/16=11mm, 13mm>=1/2, 9/16=14mm, 5/8=16mm, 3/4=19mm, 7/8=22mm 15/16=24mm

Thanks guys. I was going to use the guhtentite torque method but I figured the 15* weather might throw my calibration off.

This is incorrect value. The factory service manual gives 15 ft/lbs

WOW gotta grave digger here.. 59 ft lbs is alot and guess you didnt catch the exaggeration.
