You are making a fair bit more torque than I am plus you have a converter that gets you into the power earlier in your launch. That may account for some of your torque steer. I wonder if a TruTrac would help.

He already has a trutrac in the rear of it. Also you are running the 6l80e which has a much steeper first gear so its almost like you have a converter and your truck is also much lighter so it takes less hp to make the same effects happen. The main cause of tq steer is the front lifting up too much and unloading the front suspension. If oyu can lower the front end some that will go a long way to helping with that problem. I cranked my torsion bars down about 2" when I had my 418 with a 4K stall and the front would still raise alot but it would just do a 4 wheel drift isntead of chattering the front tires. I woudl try lowering it, suspension limiters is going to make your truck ride like crap due to the suspension no longer having any down travel just like a truck with cranked TBs to fit bigger tires.

I meant a trutrac for the front to even out that power. I know the front end weighting has a lot to due with the way it reacts to power. I lowered my truck 2" also and it tracks nicely under full power (no trutrac in the front diff). My front end weighs 2780 and the rear weighs 1920 with me in the truck.

There isnt a locker/LSD of any kind for the 8.25 front diffs of the half ton trucks.

yeah i think i will lower the front a bit. it sits level as it is. its been leveled out by someone. if i had limiters it would only be for track use. i enjoy a nice ride. it sucks though i would have to get an alignment after i lowe it some.

I didn't realize that. I guess the ones I saw listed for front applications were for older model trucks.

Yup, for the 9.25 front diff which is what I have, EATON makes the e-locker.
