Default torsion bar keys

I just wanted to know do the torsion bar keys ever come off the torsion bolts like when the supspension hangs all the way on a big dip or bump? Do they ever move in the opposite direction of the bolt? The reason I ask is because now that I have maxed out my torsion bolt or torsion key by adding a longer bolt the truck is bouncey inside is there any way of correcting this? Should I just get the Ford keys, will this correct the bounceyness and give the 2 to 3 inch lift in the front?

our trucks are built to ride on the front bump stops, it cushions the ride. you are probably high off them now thats why its bumpy, you can really only get about 1.5" lift with the keys. without a bouncy ride, i did the same to my dads 2500hd

ford keys will get rid off the bounce while leveling the front with the stock rear

Thats what I wanted to hear. I realy don't want my truck level I just want the front end higher so it can realy look like a Z71. I like the stock rake the truck has so I got some 2-1/2" Add-A-Leaf. So even after I lift the front it will still have the same stanz.

Cool

Longer shocks may help as well. You are probably past the effective operating range of the front shocks. Look for some good shocks for a lifted vehicle as I have read that can go a long way to reducing the sringy feeling in the front as well. Ford keys for the front end are a good idea as well as you are well past the designed adjustment range of the stock keys.
