Default Torsion bars

Ok guys, what is the proper precedure to adjust the torsion bars? I just realized that my truck is not properly adjusted and the passenger side of the truck needs to come down b/c the last owner adjusted the torsion bars a little bit. Thanks guys for the help!

if there is enough thread you can just turn the adjuster screws in/out to level it. You might need to do an alignment after any adjustment.

The passenger side is screwed all the way in so I was going to screw it out to start with to see if it will drop any....if this is the right way to do it. Do I need to jack the front end up to get some load off the truck.

yes, will definitely make it easier if you lift the front end off the ground... also, be sure to get an alignment afterwards

Yea, I figured it would...and I know an alignment is mandatory after suspension alterations.

You may have to play with it a lil because it will settle down about an inch after riding around.

you don't need to jack the truck up.

Word...I only jack it up if I'm tightening the bolts...seeing as though you're loosening them, don't worry about jacking it up.

Ok, well, I'm trying to lower that passenger side back down...you do loosen them correct.

yes, backing out the bolt will relieve pressure off the 'key' and de-twist the torsion bar.
