Default Towing with a stall

Who is towing with a stall conv? How do they back up? It looks like with some of my plans at least a small stall 25-28 or so will probably be in order. I use my truck to pull the car trailer and other loads how well does it work out? Jay

I tow with a stall. My 2500 felt just about like stock, and my 3000 is a little looser. Tell us a little more about your setup.

I think you will be fine with a stall up to about 3000. Just get a big cooler to keep the temps down while not in lock up. The reverse problem is not bad at all on a stall that low, might need to 2 foot it a little.

I have a 2500 stall, and my buddy has a 3200, both tow like stock.

you should be fine, dout you will even notice much of a difference from stock, iv pulled a few lighter load on a car trailer with my 3600 and even it wasnt to bad, as lone as your ease on the troddle you can pull with a fairly big stall, i could tell you could tear up and over heat things vary fast if i wanted to, just have to be a little more carful with it.
