i went with the Nitto's in the same size, i have been really happy with them so far, quiet and really good wet and dry traction, maybe you want to consider the nittos, i think they have a better lookin tread pattern too.

yeah i have the Nittos, i really like them so far. Ive put about 3K miles on them so far, they still look brand new, but i dont drive agressive either. So far i have been really happy with them, they ride nice, quiet and seem to be holding up well so far. Either one will make you happy im sure, the 265/40 fills the fenders nicely and looks really good on a 2/4.

I am on my 2nd set of Toyo's I did not have any problems out of the first set, I got 30k on the fronts and 33k from the rears. They have been good tires, I would have got more wear from them but I had an alignment problem up front, and a smoke problem in rear.

After I had the second blow out I sent them into Toyo to figure out whats going on and Toyo said it wasnt there fault and said "Good luck with it".

buy the nitto 404's....they get much better traction and treadlife. I have owned both and would take the nitto's hands down over the toyos. the toyos look cool but they just don't bite like the nittos. I believe the nittos may even be a little cheaper.

i run the toyos and sold them for over a year along with nitto and kumho and everyone that switched said the toyos were the best hands down. the owner of the place i use to work at had some 22's on his truck and had put 40000mi on his toyos with proper rotation and still had a few miles left on them. i have put 10000mi on mine and have only lost a little more than 1/32nd tread so i am looking at about 40000mi on them as long as i dont get to crazy with the foot.
