Do you have Hangers or Shackles? If you have 2" hangers with stock shackles, I would say that is your problem. Your pinion angle is all wrong.

btw... I was running those same tires on my full bolton, h/c 5.3 with a 3200 converter and I was getting better traction than you are describing. I also have the Hotchkis sport springs and rear sway.

You would be justified in not believing these traction issues. I always thought I just had really good traction or something... that is until I rode in Ben's truck, and when he drove my car. A quick spin in 1st = " I spun through 1st and almost wrecked." A second gear chirp = "I spun through second and I almost died today, was resurected and killed again," and a slight step out around a corner = "I drifted for about 800 feet today and had to correct 17 times... and I ran over an elderly woman, who then just gave me the thumbs up and said, 'Bad *** drift dude!'"

He drove my GTO, and spun a little after NAILING it in first, which I do a few times a week, without much problem... Ben described it as "I went sideways like 3 times before I corrected it." I was right there next to him... I saw it... no.

FTR ben does stetch it alittle not as far as chase said, but nothing that some new tires cant fix. When he drove the gto is wasnt bad at all spun alittle in first then hooked the car is basically stock so its not goin to spin all through 3rd gear and go sideways and what not. It might hook better if u got that "nail" out of the tire. but on a good note his truck runs strong for little mods.
