Default Traction Problems

I know this is going to sound stupid, but Im new to the truck scene. My 1999 z71 only pulls with one tire under hard acceleration. Is a locker the only way to prevent this or is their a cheaper alternative? Any help is much appreciated.

A locker is the best way to solve this.

Cheapest way would be the 4x4 selector

Posi traction unit would be your best bet tho, a Eaton LSD and a Detroit Trutrac are the popular ones around here.
