Default Traction Traction!!!

Guys i have a 4'6' drop on my RCSB. And since I have droped it the traction on this thing sucks. I can floor it and the tires will spin forever. I fliped the axle on thing I think that is where that major part of the problem comes from, but I really dont want to do anything about that since I like the drop. Have any of you guys done some tweaking to the suspension to remedy this. Have any installed any torsion bars? Do you like them. I was thinking of adding a helper spring to the top to help in strengthing the springs under a very hard acceleration whats the take on this.

should stuff like this go in the performance section?

What kind/size of tires are you running? Are you having trouble on the street or at the track?

I know that my low profile 20s would spin pretty easy w/ the stock 4.8. Now that the LS1 is in, 1st gear is damned near useless.

I'm going to look into CalTrac's once I get a posi and the ET Streets if it won't hook.

I have so yokahama's 255 55 18 ST tires. Those things also i think do not grip very well. I was trying to find a webstite for the CALTREC suspension, where can i look up some stuff for that. What exactly is it a link suspension, torsion, springs?

Yokohama's sucks ****

I couldn't hook for **** at the track w/ mine and everyone else was hooking w/ no problems. I was pissed to say the least because it was the last day that the track was opened and it was cold as **** w/ good conditions and I couldn't even beat my best time on a warmer day. JMHO...Zed

The caltracs help more with axle wrap than traction. If you are having traction problems, you need to look at your tire selection.
