spring clamps are nothing new....... drag racers have been doing it for several years it's a good cheap mod that helps with the wheel hop and traction i put them on my truck over a year ago with no problems at all.....they will actually help save your drivetrane from hard launches .....wheel hop can brakes alot of parts .....if you have wheel hop the clamps will stop it and save your drivetrane....... very cheap insurance ....if i ran my mickey thompson et street tires (without) the clamps i would not be able to get 1.7 60ft times.....

I also think Grip is right. He has a HD2500 I am sure those things come with a either more springs or greater strength within those springs. So I would think he is not prone to this.

heres a link from this site about spring clamps......talk to some of the guys here that have tryed the clamps and they will tell you that clamps work.....do some research on the clamps
