Default TrailBlazer converter? and Shift Kits?

I have 02 silverado with 5.3L auto 3:73 G80. I have been looking at this website for sometime now and theres alot of people using TB converters for temp use or cheap upgrades. my question is does it work well? any problems? any tuning required? and most of all what stall speed is it? and is there a big difference?

Next i have a 4L60-E tranny in the silverado, I recently purchase a B&M shift kit(pn#70365) but it has 2 stages tow and street/strip, I do want it chirp 2nd pretty good and upgrade shift firmness, but i dont want to bang 2nd and 3rd all the time, so any pointers and maybe other shift kits?

Thanks Guys
