i was thinking of buying a stock trailblazer stall from a friend do you think i should buy it

speaking from my experiance only, I wish I had never installed a trailblazer converter. Truck has not been right since I did, this may not apply to N/A where you are not hitting it with 500 ft pounds of tq.....but with the blower, the TB converter sucks IMHO.

well tht would make sense a converter is based off engine torque and vehicles weight. this is why a cars converter will stall higher behind the weight of a truck. or a smaller motors converter will stall higher behind the larger motor

in most appliations the TB is a great bang for the buck but if your making some serious power why go cheap on somehting thats a bang for the buck part?

you cant expect things to be budget or bang for the buck when you have top dollar into other parts

for stock or mild build ups i would use one for sure

yeah might not be the "optimal" part for your application...

might want look into to a tad bigger it would probably benefit you in the long run.
