You are looking for the stall out of an I6 trailblazer. Should stall to around 2600. It's a cheap way to go and would probably work ok for your setup. Not sure how durable they are, but I can't say I've heard of one blowing up either. A Yank or a PI would be a better way to go, but also more expensive.

here's a link with a part number for the DACCO TB stall. i've never heard of an issue with them. i ran one for ~15K without any problems.

I would say that it would work fine. I was running a hughes 2500 with a similar cam in an 04 Crew Cab 1500 with 5.3 and 3.90's. It was bare minimum, but with your lighter truck and 4.10's should work fine, although of course a 2800-3000 would be better for all out performance.

i ran a i6 trailblazer converter for a very long time, but i brought mine to a custom converter shop and had it cleaned and turned up to stall at about 3100 to 3300, worked like a charm, still a stock style converter, meaning you can still pull what ever the hell you want

any shop that makes or modifies converters can modify a stock one.

I think yank TT converters are modified stock converters. but not positive on that.

So TrailBlazer SS has a different converter than the one everyone is using?

The Yank TT's are NOT retooled stock converters. They are a totally new design.
