You have the 300mm type M30 4l60e. I know that this is not the best picture but look at the input shaft in this picture.

(Picture above)The oring is is between the stator shaft splines and the input shaft splines. This is a 300mm set up. (Picture below)Here is another photo of just the drum.

Here is a photo of a trans with a 298mm stator and input. Notice that the oring is in front of the splines not between it. This is an early 96 case not that it is important to our discussion but it does use the lt1 style input drum, pump and converter.

Here is a picture of just the drum. It is also a 298 input drum.

Looking at the pics I have the 60, I think that i'm gonna have to call the guy as I paid alot more for the 65 vs the 60.

I would like to know if in fact it has 5 pinion planets in it. That is what will make it a 65. You might want to ask them that. If they say no then it sounds like they have misrepresented what they have sold you. Just a heads up. Vince
