Spoke with Ken today, he is convinced it's something wrong with the truck, not the tranny, and he told me now he's scared of my truck (too many electronics - something else has to be causing the problems... ). He doesn't want to build me the 80 either, which is fine, because I don't want him to.

So now....let's see some pics of the problem this time:

I have broken more hard parts than soft parts. Parking gear, rear planetary, input drum, and now the output shaft. I can't see how it could be a problem with my truck since different parts have broken every time. Whatever....on to bigger and better things.
On my 60E i broke the input shaft on a 1-2 shift. When it was rebuilt we got a bad drum and it shattered it into 9 pieces.....Inow have all hardened parts lol as well as the input shaft cause when that crap breaks it tears up all kinds of stuff. At least mine did.I broke it into about a million shrards and had a big junk missing with it all twisted and contourted(sp) lookin.

You really paid that much for him to build it bro???
Well, good news. I take the tranny back on Friday and get a check for the full amount, $3418.xx

I mean your gettin your money back but damn he is expensive thats for sure.
I got mine fully built and it only cost me $1724.xx
He must have charged you alot for labor are something cause those numbers just seem extremely high to me.At least your gettin your money back though.

I'm getting a built one from Transformance - recommended by two other members.

My guy was way overpriced anyway, I asked him how much to do my TrueTrac and he wanted like $600 labor - yikes

Ya he seems high considering your gettin over 3grand back on a build.Sounds like he overcharged to compensate for his lack of skill heh.
