Well i Lied, while I was at Orilleys today to pick up my Murray 180* thermostat I inquired about their tranny coolers. The counter salesman informed me that they sold Hayden coolers so i asked him to see one. When he brought me the box i flipped it over to see all the different cooler models, I then choose the biggest and best model (679) this is the rapid cool series! This cooler is rated at 30000gvw which should be big enough, plus its a more compact design than the B&M models. I did forget the PN # 390 adapter kit! I guess i will head back to Orilleys Monday!
BTW if your interested in the 180* stat the p/n is 37980!
(its the cheapest 180* stat you will find that includes the housing)

I have a Hayden sitting in my garage. Vince or Chuck @ FLT told me the Tru-Cools were much stronger. He said they (Tru-Cool) ran them over with a truck and it didnt do any damage. I guess it was a commercial or a demo. I'm sure the one you bought will be fine. Its not like if you rear end someone you are worried about the tranny cooler

This is the cooler i got:
The cooling fins really cant be bent due to them being located in between the larger fins. Is this the model you installed Vince?
I have done a search and it seems a bunch of people are satisfied with this model.
It looks as if the other models' fins can be damaged rather easily.

I like that one! I would however make some brakets to mount it. I might have some in my box if it didn't come with any. The brakets are usually flat pieces of steel with some holes in them. Can easily be bent and fabricated to fit your application. That is the style and constuction of a quality cooler. Nice piece!
