Default tranny cooler install sticky?

hey yall i just spent about an hour looking through the search at tranny cooler installs and still dont have a warm and fuzzy on how to install it. Is there a DIY sticky somewhere on the site (or another site) for this. please excuse my retardation but im new to trucks and this site.

there are several easy to find threads if you search for cooler in the "GM drivetrain & Suspension" section. They have pictures and all you have to do is look at a couple of the pictures to see how its done.
It's quite simple and the cooler comes with instructions.
You just use a few bolts and brackets to hold it up and then run the 2 lines. Place the brackets however you feel comfortable. As far as the lines you can go through the radiator or bipass the radiator.
If you want to still use the radiator you unhook the bottom line from it and use the adapters that come with the kit to run from the radiator to the cooler and then from the cooler to the trans line.
Make sure nothing leaks and your done.

Good info except you don't want to use the bottom line if going in-line with the radiator, you want to use the top. An auxilary cooler should go in-line with the return line to the transmission, which is the top line on our trucks

that's why you shouldn't quote from memory. lol memory doesn't always work
