Who did your tranny for $1200??? It couldn't have been Century compared to their price they gave me to rebuild my brothers Z71's tranny. Of course it is their HD rebuild with loads of upgrades, but still not even close.

I did a write up on installing a 24,000 or 28,000 (don't remember which one I got), I spent $90 from Summit.

You should have the frame checked out on a digital or computerized frame machine. That will tell you if it's out a hair one way or the other.
That should rid you of your worries. Usually big nice body shops will have these type of frame machines.

the frame is straight. the core support is pushed back 2" so thats whats throwing everything off.

so i get a call from the shop today about my truck(woke me up). they put the new hood on for paint and figured out that my core support is pushed back about 2" and the passenger side of my frame is tweaked and that will cost me another 100 to straighten out. i aughta pawn off this truck and get me an 18 speed
I talk of a frame machine due to this particular post. You said they told you that the passenger side frame is tweaked or bent.
A computerized frame machine will show where the frame rail needs to be as well as the core support.
Just trying to help you out.

the part that was bent was the a part that was made to bend in a light collision. its kind of a cussion behind the bumper. they just grabbed on with a pry bar and straightened it out the best they could. it wont affect anything at all. they said the frame was bent because this part is welded to the front of the frame.
