Did you just swap trannys, and that's it? Or was there more to it? You're probably gonna have to pull of the pan and check the solenoid connectors.

You had the 4L60E in there to start with right? Did you reflash your PCM for the 4L80E? How bout the wiring - did you get the wiring adapter for the data connector (the round one) and the extra harness for the second speed sensor?

Check and make sure that your round adapter is plugged in the right way. Mine would go on both ways (correct orientation and 180* off), I had to look real closely to make sure that I got it on the right way. Not sure if that would cause your issues.....you did bolt the converter to the flexplate right?

Sure thing. I'm going to make a list, some are very basic but I'm going to write it out anyway, don't think I'm calling you dumb or anything. It help me to see it written out.

fill converter with 1 quart of fluid
mount converter to input shaft
bolt tranny to motor
bolt converter to flexplate
bolt transfer case to tranny
connect round connector with adapter
connect original speed sensor
connect all sensors on transfer case
run new harness for second speed sensor
install two pins on new harness into PCM
install electronics onto shifter post
connect electronics on shifter post
install cable bracket
mount linkage to cable bracket
connect linkage to shifter post
install driveshafts
reflash PCM with 4L80E tune
fill tranny with fluid
fill transfer case with fluid
start engine, let tranny fluid heat up
top off tranny fluid

Look about right?
