Default tranny probs..lock up?

I'm not sure if my tranny isn't locking up or if its somethin else. When i'm driving, i'm giving it gas and it feels as if the tranny is going into neutral. The rpms increase but I go nowhere. It's not doing it all the time but most of the time. I let off the gas and slow down and then I can go gain or play with the gear selesctor, that seems to work sometimes. I noticed it that it also did it in the driveway in drive but in first, it almost didn't want to go up it.

you'll see slip until the point in your tune where the pcm commands lockup. if you've got the scanner table set up to monitor converter status (locked or otherwise), and you still see TCC Slip, then that converter may need to come out. I've had lockup clutches go bad on a PTC3000. Replaced with a Yank SST3200, and no more issues. But... I knew the converter was toast b/c it made a God-awful noise when attempting to lock.

Well I called the converter builder, and he said that theres too much rpm difference for it to be the converter. So I called the tranny builder and he says that it soundt like the clutches or the pump is going?

I brought the tranny down to the tranny shop and as usual bad news. It was a mess, He said that the input planitary was damaged from a failed thrust washer, pump damaged from metal shavings, forward clutch snap ring was rubbing on the 3-4 apply leg the 3-4 accumulator is missing the piston and spring, 2-4 servo 4th apply piston is in backwards and the seal cut. That with all the metal shavings my converter is contaminated and with that contamination I have to replace my radiator cause that **** went through the cooler. Its about 6 months past the 1 year warranty and has about 10000 kms on it. I hope the owner of the tranny shop does something about this as my guy said that this was caused buy a bad build and it looks like there was no lock up. I did call him when it went in about not having a full 4th gear, my rpms were about 400 - 800 higher than normal. I think he said it was the pnp switch causing the problem so I replaces it and still no change so I left it as is.
