im just putting off pulling the tranny cause i really dont have the money to put in this pig right now! and im sick of pulling the f-ing tranny out!! lol all though im getting really good and fast at it now! thats the only positive!

nice thing is that i dont have to jack the truck up to get under it....just pull it in the garage and start working!

well just to let you guys know this is almost exactly what happened to my pump! my converter was fine! i cleaned out the tranny and there really wasnt alot of metal shavings anywhere! prety minimal
i just cleaned everything off and added new fluid and installed the new pump assembaly. went smooth for the most part! except i forgot to plug in a sensor so i only had 1st gear and no speedo for the first test drive! lol

did your tranny slip at all after in stalling it? I just put a new trany in and it slips all the time, the guy i bought it from said it was my fault, that i installed it wrong but i dont see how ive done them in older cars and they worked fine. Is there any thing speshil to these damn things
