Default Trans #3!!

Welp i just now blew up trans number 4..cruisin down the highway..some guy got on my *** so i floor to get a head of him and at about 90 it revs up and bounces off the rev limiter..which is 7100..first thought drive shaft?? naw no vibration..then i thought it might be the input shaft..well i coast a mile just thinking about how bad my day is going..found out today there is a going to be a warrant for my arrest tomorrow because a guys shop caught on fire and everyone is saying that i done it..which i didnt..i was workin on my truck that night..oh well..enough of that rant..
so i finally got stopped and put it park..and all i hear is a slight whine and then when i put it in all other gears the whine is more noticeable

so im thinking FLT 4L65-E level 5 i think it with a 3200-3400 rpm stall..??

If a cop actually spoke to you around the time of the fire, and you didn't have the opportunity to leave, start the fire, and get back to where he saw you... Don't sweat it. He'll surely go on record as saying he saw you and knew you couldn't have done it and that'll go away.

That should free up the needed money(provided you had it) for the new transmission. Hope that both issues are quickly resolved. You don't need a bad tranny to sit in your truck. More importantly, you definitely don't need to be facing charges of arsen. particularly if you're innocent. I'd take the wasted tranny over arsen charges every time. Heck, I could deal with the lack of transportation. I can't deal with sitting in jail!

I wouldn't even worry about being charged with the arson. If what you are saying is true...there is absolutely no way it will go to court. That sucks about the tranny, but everyone knew it was a matter of time. When is the new tranny coming in??
