Trans Codes!!!! someone help...
I recently installed a 4l80e into a 2001 chevrolet silverado 1500.. the truck has a 6.0 cam... blah... blah.... i installed a junk yard 80e, that i put a shift kit and a 3600 stall YANK converter into... the truck ran flawless for about 200 miles... and now its stuck in second when i put it into D or 1,2,3.... and its giving me a p1860 and a p0758 which are a
DTC P0758 2-3 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
DTC P1860 TCC PWM Solenoid Circuit Electrical
should i just change solenoid are what? i checked the connections on the main plug... and plug adapter i got from speartech..... maybe i should take that plug adapter apart...
if there is anyway to trouble shoot this then please let me know.. i am not afraid to use a meter.. i do it everyday.. i just need a schematic to look at, thanks!!!!

I think you should probably verify that you have power at the trans. With the 2nd gear start you either have a power issue or a solenoid issue. However what is the chances that both the 2-3 solenoid and the lock up solenoid failed at the same time.

I suggest you do a current draw on the power feed wire. A meter won't load the circuit enough to tell if there is high resistance. The power feed is the pink wire at pin E. I usually use a headlamp bulb for testing. If it lights bright, you've got a good circuit. If not you'll need to check your wiring. I'd almost bet it's your ignition switch. I've done many of those for this concern.
