i need to put a tranny cooler on pronto, just curious of the size you all would recommend.

i am figuring nothing under a 20K gvw, but any input would be great.

just put another radiator on and run tranny fluid through it instead of coolant

 

tru cool 40,000 GVW IMO

 

AFAIK You can't run the tranny too cool. Get the biggest one you can squeeze in there.

 

go for the 40k your tranny will be crying for it!

 

That is what I run as well. In the dead winter, it does get too cool IMO. It will not even get into tripple digits. Summer time it is 150 TOPPS after spirited driving or heavy stop and go traffic, E-fans on high.

 

Get a huge one... You're in Alabama...
