It depends on how you want to do it, you can retain the factory fittings and just slide the supplied hoses over, or you can cut the factory line(s) if you choose. Some guys like to bypass the factory cooler all together, while I like to install the aux cooler in line with the return, which is the upper hard line to the radiator.

I have the tru cool too, and with my stall in traffic in 95+ temps I have only seen 150*, and 160* with the a/c on. I have mine thru the rad and then out to the cooler and to the trans. I normally see 130 on the highway so far this summer. I also wonder about just using the tru cool, and no rad cooler. it would be less pressure loss for sure.

I dunno if that thing will do what I need man, my **** gets hot in a heartbeat and I have a Derale cooler and my factory rad one with an electric fan and it still crazy hot, maybe it will do the trick. I dont ever have issues on the road its only in the sand, thats the only problem I dont wanna do this again! If you guys say so, ill give it a try.
i had a 40K on my truck back when i had a the 60E in it. worked good but i had to have my elec fans on the whole time. im going to put it back on the truck now with the 80E because my temps were up there too.
