Sorry I don't have any advice that hasn't been given already... But I saw this comment and had to say something about it. FWIW - my 60e has troubles staying over 100 with 25 degree temps going down the highway. So something in the transmission has to be causing this. Maybe a clutch not disengaging completely?

With that in mind, I would recommend still using the rad cooler if you live in very cold environment for prolonged periods, like the northern US states or Canada.
As far as the OPs problem, where is the cooler mounted? If there isnt airflow from the grille, even with a fan it is going to get pretty warm.

Haven't really driven it very far because of this problem but it seems like the temps just keep increasing as I keep driving. But I have not driven it for longer then 30 minutes since the swap so IDK how high the temps would get if i drove it longer. The highest its went is around 200 and that was after a 30 minute drive taking it very easy. I checked both lines to c if they were flowing properly and they seem to be fine.
