Obviously this is just a guess but it has to be the tranny. Is this happening at WOT or normal driving?

You can log how much slip there is from the converter locked and if there is any with the transmission.

Pm sent no response. Also did a little search...alternator stops working randomly. Sounds like low voltage put your trans in limp mode. Give me a buzz when you have some time. Take care, Vince.
