Only thing I ever noticed (even this morning), was that the trans doesn't shift as firm (but still noticeable), and the TC doesn't lock up (setting @ 130degF).

HMM interesting. Hopefully my transmission is just moody. The only problems I've ever had were because of the fluid level being a little low and cold temperatures.

What gage do you have? In this cold weather myn gets to about 120-130 with a 4200 converter, I have 3 coolers including the stock one in the radiator. I know the temps are suppose to be above 100, but if it shifts fine, or isn't acting funny, then I would just leave it alone.

Mine is setup the same way. For what it's worth I have an aeroforce scan gauge and an escalade cluster and the escalade cluster reads a little high when first warming up

so the bottom line coming out of the transmission goes into the bottom of the radiator, the outlet (top of the radiator) goes to the cooler and then back to the (top connection) transmission. i just dont want to screw up the flow or something. thanks

mine doesnt slip or act funny at all, no matter what temperature it is. i have the escalade cluster and i know the gauge works because before i put the cooler on it was reading around 200, the same temp HPT said it was running.

I don't agree completely with running it thru the rad still... Mine's not, but you see my mods, you'll understand my temps.

Remember, were not in the great white north. I have the belief that we don't need the pre-heating, this is why mine is not in the circut...

FLT lvl5 65E, Yank SS3600, -6an hoses, and a 30K plate type cooler... Cooling 460+rwhp

i dont agree with running it through the radiator either, the radiator is going to heat up the fluid if you want it cool why run it through the radiator, right. but mine isnt getting anywhere near warm enough.

like i said, mine is running at or less than 100 degrees with a stock trans, Yank TT2600, -6an hoses, and a 40K plate type cooler....somewhere around 300rwhp
