Transgo Shift Kit??
Hey guys,
I am kinda new to the whole shift kit thing and I was justr wondering what the differance between the Transgo HD2 and the normal Trango was? I already have a Corvette Servo and a raised line pressure via tune!
Thanks,
Jesse

Also the HD-2 kit comes with heavier accumulator springs as well as other springs that the other kit does not have. Basically its more customizable and complete than the other kit. Definately go with the HD-2, its worth the extra $. I would get a new seperator plate at the very least while you are at it. There is a laundry list of other small parts that you may want to do while you are in there.

i will be ordering the kit here in a few days. I have already picked up a corvette servo from OPT. Do you guys buy the longer pin and stiffer 1-2 spring, or do you just reuse the stock ones? Also, you said that the HD-2 kit contained some springs, are these the ones that go in with the vette servo. Should I wait to get the shift kit to install the vette servo or won't I have to remove it again?
Thanks for all your help!!

I did not use the longer pin. There is debate about whether it is needed/recommended. Basically it comes down to how much end play you have. 1/4" or more I would say yes to longer pin. If less than that I would say no. 1/8' is about perfect. Personally I would wait to get the shift kit but thats just me. Not necessary if you are anxious to get that servo in. There was a really good thread on GMFS about the longer pin that helped me decide. I would do a search here and there to see what comes up. Hope this helps.
