I know it's difficult as hell but you have to read the stupid paper suplied with the kit. I thought they were for soaking up Trans fluid. Turns out the writing and pictures mean something.

Too bad I can read...

Havent gotten my kit yet, just goin off the pdf on sonnax website...

So should i worry about the transgo spring kit or not?? The 7-cs?? Heard mixed things about it, if my truck sees stupid high revs itd probably be an accident...

I only used the rings from the kit for the pump. The spring I used was from sonnex kit. It's actually stronger than the Trans go one. For the internal ones for the apply, I used the transgo and they were a pain in the ***.

I used the rings because they are supposed to be stronger. I was later told they were not needed as the newer pumps have different rings in them. I already pissied the money away so I went with it. When I got the sonnax kit after the fact I swapped the spring out for the sonnax one.
This was a certa unit but the wear on 1 side of the inner housing concerned me so I sent it to a friend and he went through the pump. Then he didn't like the fit on the boost valve so he bored the case and did the sleeve.

I plan on using the transgo pump rings, with sonnax pump spring and boost valve, its the transgo 7cs apply springs im more debating whether to go through the hassle of getting and installing or not... What 3-4 are you running??

I put them in because they were recommended. But against the advice I received, I put them all in.

I have not finished the trans yet as I still need to do the valve body, So I am not sure how its going to feel
