want a tranny. preferably a FLT i have heard good things. anyone know if the 4l65e level 5 is good?

Theres quite a few trucks on here running them with over 400 rwhp without issues. So it sounds good to me, thats what I want when I get a built one. How much power do you plan on running?

well now i have 312 i plan on supercharging it sometime. i figured i would get a tranny first so i wont have to worry about it afterwards. hopefully over 400!!!!!

That flt level 5 should hold up to that kind of power. 312 is that just with the mods in your sig? How do you like the pacesetters I'm thinking of gettin some.

I just ordered mine and im making 500 rwhp. Trever1t is running the same tranny and hes making alittle more power than me. I sure hope this one is gonna last me

yea thats it. the guy who tuned it did a great job my base was 247 and he brought it up 65 hp.

Who did your tune? The setup you have is what I'm planning plus a TR220 cam with a yank 3000 stall. Those are good #'s by the way.

i've got the FLT lvl 5 w/billet output and input shaft and it's awesome!!! It holds up to all the abuse and power i'm throwing at it which includes a radix, 6" lift, 35" tires, 4.56 gears and towing a 4K boat.

No problems at all. FLT ROCKS!!!
