yes i am bypassing the radiator. friday i flushed the lines all out again as well as the cooler. when i flushed everything i got good flow thru the lines with the cooler clean in both directions. I am not getting the message anymore but it is still getting too hot. it gets up to like 240 when the engine coolant only gets to 215 tops. I dont think its an airflow issue cause i mounted it to the frount of the oe trans cooler. there are no kinks in any of the lines. nothing in the trans can really cause heat. only the converter and i never had this problem with any of the other transmissions. any other ideas?

I have a 2004 silverado with a front mounted turbo with the same issue ... did you ever get yours figured out?
