Default trans problem

well today on my way back from work i gave it more than half throttle from 2nd gear to 3rd gear, from 2nd before going into 3rd it revved up a bit (like it neutrallizes) then shifts into 3rd and it dont do it during normal driving just when i give it more than half throttle

your transmission is slipping. Nonnielsman(sp?) had the same thing happen.

well it was low 1qt and have royal purple trans fluid, which have about 6months of use with it. the last time i service the tranny was about 2years ago when they put a new sunshell, z-pak clutches and the transgo reprogramming shift kit. my line pressure is stock except what the shift kit gave me. and ever since havent checked the tranny filter to see if it's restricting anything or if its to cold or something. cuz i notice when it's been cold the tranny dont lock up to overdrive until the tranny is warn. is this normal

Mine did the same thing... sluggish 2-3 shift. I turned out to be the 2-3 clutch band, it was stretched.
