Angry Transmission Shutters

When ever I am just cruising around, not getting more than 2000 rpms when it shifts into second my trans shutters. I can roll down my windo and hear it. Sounds like it is coming from the rear part of the vehicle. I have taken it to the dealership and they can't ever find anything wrong with it. It doesn't always happen. It seems to happen much worse when I let off literally just a fraction when about to shift into 2nd. Truck shifts fine at wot and when I am getting on it more than the amount stated above. Thanks for any input.

How many miles are on the tranny?
Have you been changing your tranny fluid & filter every 25,000-30,000 miles?
If not your tranny may be heading south if you have high mileage.
Could be something wrong with the tune as well. You need to ask Wait4Me about it and see what they have to say about it.

Truck has 69000 miles on it. I always do the scheduled maint. at the dealership. The truck did it before I had my tune and seems to be better since it was put in. It's only when i putt around. Whenever I get it on it it shifts fine. It seems to be really sensitive to any fluctuation in throttle just before it shifts. If i let off just a hair it shudders. It doesn't surge at all if the tq converter locks up at 40. I have been told in the past that if it did, then that would be tq converter related issue. Thank you for the reply.

But has the fluid and filter been changed in it yet? If not, it should have been.

my 60e in my trailblazer has recently started to shudder when it shifts from first to second under light throttle. also i have noticed that under wot it shifts firm and snappy. i don't remember it being that firm before i made it my DD. my wife normally drove it and i guess her style is different than mine. my fluid is changed regularly as well. i just hope it don't crap out cause one tranny eating truck is enough. plus i'll never live it down.

Yeah the fluid and the filter were changed at 50,000 miles.

Give this a try, it worked for me when I installed my 3000 stall converter, as the lockup clutch had a shudder to it when it engaged. This product works really fast and it took care of the problem instantly, hence the name of it. It is called Instant Shudder Fixx and you can find it at this address. It runs $5.99 and is worth every penny. Go to www.autobarn.net/transmissionadditives.html it is a small red tube, and it works great. Let me know how it does for you.

Not sure if they carry it, but you might check with your local tranny shop, that is where I got mine. They charged me $10.00 for the same thing that the website I told you about, sells for $5.99. But if they have it, you won't have to wait for the product. Let me know how you like the stuff, I swear by it now for shudder problems.
