Default trimming down bump stops

Well I finished half of my lowering kit last night the kit is a 2/4 drop but I only had time to do the rear. so the rear sits 4" lower. My bump stop is about 3/4 of an inch, maybe 1" at the most, away from my axle. I'm afraid I'm going to be bottoming out all the time. I'm not looking to do a c-notch at any time soon, so I need some ideas. Can I trim off some of my bump stops so I'll have a little more suspension travel? How do the bump stops bolt in? Could I just leave them in and take a recipricating saw with a long blade and cut about an inch off the bottom of each stop or will I be cutting through a bolt that holts them in place that is driven through the center of the bump stop. Any suggestions or tips will help. Thanks

Cut the stop so theres only one pancake left on there. I did it with a hack saw, they are very soft material. And yes there is a nut on the other end of the stop. It can be removed I took mine off to cut them down!!

yeah i cut most of it off with a jigsaw. Its made of a foam like plastic material, very easy to cut off. I left around one nub left of the bump stop and havent had any problems

phuc all them saws. the stop is made out of foam. I cut it with a damn razor blade. No need for a motorized cutting tool, no need to remove it. I left one rib and have had zero problems with bottoming out.
