troublecode P0757
I was driving my truck today and all of a sudden it threw this code (P07570)... the converter felt like it was alot looser than normal, and my tranny temps went from 120 to 170?? so I stopped by an autoparts store and check my tranny oil level, it needed a quart so I added it and went on home after about a 5 miles the tranny temps strated to cool off but not much, it went down to 150... the converter does not feel loose anymore... seems like it is running back to normal... then I went to autozone to checks that "SES" light.. and thats the code that they gave me...
P0757 - The PCM has determined that the voltage signal from shift solenoid "B" indicates a "stuck on" condition...
so what do ya'll think happened?? do you think that quart of oil that was missing was the problem?? I hope my tranny doesnt start acting up again...

same thing happened to me the other day, once the code is cleared you will be fine.
This is caused by one of three things:
1. there is debris stuck (doubtfull)
2. you tried to start the truck and was putting it into drive and it killed which triggered the code.
3. or your converter flashed to high and it threw off the sensor and it randomly came on, no big deal! just clear it.

i found by reducing the amount the tcc slips that i wont throw the code anymore. i havent seen it happen with a stcok tc but i have seen it happen with some 2600+ converters.

If you tune yourself, raise you low throttle up-shift points a little. The loose converter makes the PCM think that the trans is slipping. If you raise the shift points a little closer to where the converter stalls it won't slip as much and won't trip the code.
...or you could always kill the code.

This code shows up every day for me! I thought my tuner deleted it but I guess not. Is that all I need to do is delete the code?
