Truck stops in reverse

My truck is doing the same thing. After driving it a lil it will lock up in reverse after bout half a wheel turn. I let it sit up for a day and it backed up fine. Did you ever figure out what it was???

The input drum had a crack in it. Sorry for the bad news.
