Default Trutrac Part number

I searched and couldn't find what I was looking for.

I need the correct part number for a Trutrac that fits my truck it's a 2011 Sierra RCSB originally 5.3/6l80 pretty sure it's the 8.5/8.6 30 spline but I read they're different in 09+ trucks.

I also wanted to know of other options for differentials and the best brand for gears?

You obviously didn't Google hard enough. There website has a guide to look this information up...........

913A481

Yukon, Motive, Richmond, G2, google search and read reviews on all

The only thing thats different is in 2009/10 Gm went to a larger pinion bearing or something like that so the gears are the only difference.

Answer to what?

I have always liked my Tru Tracs. I've had them in three vehicles all with 3:73s, 2 of which were up in MA. No issues at all. Never got stuck and always spins both wheels

Well I'm mainly looking to upgrade it because I abuse the truck ALOT and I'm worried the G80 will blow soon, but also for 1/4 mile times from what I seen there's the Detroit, Yukon makes a couple but I haven't read anything about those, and eaton makes a clutch driven one and a "e-locker". Just wondering why everyone favors the trutrac is it just the best and that's all there is or are there better ones?

Speaking from my own experience. They've been maintenance free and reliable and can take a beatin.
Trutracs are popular because they are gear driven, reliable and they are reasonably priced. Plus they do what they're supposed to do and do it well.

Now, you could always get a wavetrac by Moser. THAT is a very nice set up but, at twice the cost of a TruTrac. I'll stick with my trutrac.

Eaton, not eating, haha

Damn auto correct lol

I'll more than likely end up with a trutrac but I wanted too see what other options are out there but not many has gone off the beaten path and posted about it, but hey it's proven so end of story I guess.

Edit:
WOW those are expensive I'm too tired to figure out what's so great about them, but at that price it's WAY out of budget

I looked around to before buying a trutrac, once I saw it was gear driven. I was sold.

Haha, no kidding. I'll stick with my trutrac.
