Tune or Trans problem?
Just got the cam and stall (3400 Fuddle) in and the truck sounds great but I am having a problem. I got a retune from Nelson and when I started the truck and let it run through the gears to get the trans fluid going I threw a TCC solenoid code. I erased it and took it for a test drive to see if it came back up. Not too long after I got it out of the shop it popped back up. After putting a few heat cycles on it I parked it overnight. The next day I drove it about 3 times, letting it cycle between hot and cold each time. The day after that I decided to give it a little more gas to see what happened. The truck revs to 2800 before it will move but it will not rev past about 3200 rpms. I can go full throttle and the rpms will increase very slowly to about 3200 rpms and just sit there. It will free rev in neutral just fine and sounds great but when its in gear the truck just falls on its face. I tried dropping into 1st and doing a launch and it took about 10-15 seconds just to get up to 50 mph. The trans fluid is full (I have checked it every time I drive the truck) and I put fluid in the stall before putting it on. I have a friend that just got a Fuddle 4000 in a Z28 and heard that he was having the exact same problem and code but after he took it to get it tuned it ran great. I was told in his case that the pcm thought that the trans was excessively slipping and limited it so that the trans would not go completely. Should I just trailor it to Nelson since I was going to get a dyno tune anyway and see what he can do or is there another problem besides tuning?

Hooked it up to the Genisys today (someone else had the Tech II) to get some readings:
STFTs are all at 99.2%, 02 sensors are reading about .12-.87 volts at idle(within range), MAF readings are within range. Here's the ticker, I am throwing 6 codes, all trans codes.
P0740, P0753A, P0758D, P0785, P1810, P1860. I am starting to think that the PCM was not tuned for the stall. I am waiting on Nelson to call me back and see what he thinks. Hopefully I can get a dyno tune scheduled so I can get this thing running pretty soon.

Sorry this is the first time I've read this tread. If you are getting multiple codes for the trans it is usually a sign of a wiring/connection problem or a power/ground problem. I had a customer with a simular problem that took his truck to the dealer and they told him that he needed an ignition switch installed. In his case it did not fix the truck. The problem was a bad connection at the power source that was blowing fuses. He cleaned the conections up and installed a new fuse. Every thing is good now and he loves the trans. These are some things to look at. Good luck, Vince.

Did you do your stall install? Do you have instrumentation? (ie tach, speedo, tranny position.) and the biggest Q of all, DID YOU DISCONNECT YOUR BATTERY WHEN YOU WERE DOING YOUR STALL INSTALL?

I did the install myself and yes I disconnected the battery first. The truck is still on a lift so I guess I will disconnect them all and make sure they are clean and check the pins. Every connector is snapped in. Also it does have all of the instrumentation.
