turbo 400 or built 4l60e/4l80e
im trying to decide which transmission to chose.. a couple of my buddies that have turbo 400(thus having them in thier camaros) say i will lose power but will be quicker. On the other hand people tell me to go with either a 4l60e or a 4l80e
WHat are some pros and cons of the 3

personally id go with the flt lvl 5 65e.
built 60e - good for 500-550rwhp. weakest of the three. puts the most power to the ground, least parasitic loss. i wouldnt trust anything but a flt lvl 5 65e but thats JMHO
built 80e - good for up to 1000rwhp+ depending on how its built. stronger than the 60e. more parasitic loss than 60e. a rebuilt one with a stall and shift kit would be good for probably 450-500rwhp.
built TH400 - very similar to the 80e, but without overdrive or a lock up converter. most parasitic loss. mostly used for drag only and not DD/street trucks
