Now I'm just throwing this out here......Why not get a custom one made? You'll spend less money in the end.

The 4" alum. is a custom one. I need it to a smaller diameter. Last time I was on this forum everyone was going with the 3.5" to 4" alum. ds for the fix. Its just to big for my application.

I just don't get it man. If you have your mind made up then just do it. There are guys running steel driveshafts and running much bigger numbers than you and I are. I don't see why an aftermarket steel shaft wouldn't work.

Or just order a new Aluminum with a smaller diameter.

Finding the G8 driveshaft and creating a place to mount it would likely cost more.

How far are u dropped when it rubs? On air to me is 1 frame scrape away, off the ground.

I think a 2pc will cause more probs than it fixes. How bout a MMC or a full carbon one. I'd bet if u get a G8, have it modded, it'll cost near same & still no guarantee it'll work.
If u shred a C/F, well...

The reason for the 4" alum. ds is for the high speed. Is there someone making a small diameter ds for the high rpm. http://www.rodandcustommagazine.com/...ech/index.html

Denny's Drive Shaft. They build 3 and 3.5" shafts. I don't know how long your driveshaft is though so the 3" may not be available.
